11th October, 2022 the school mentoring model developed within project IHUB4Schools was presented during the ETF - European Training Foundation Network of Excellence webinar. The online event "Developing and Sharing Excellence on digitalisation of teaching and learning - Teachers’ Digital Competencies" took place online and was translated in EN, RU, AR. Representatives of the IHUB4Schools consortium were involved in the webinar: Kerli Požogina & Kairit Tammets & Tatia Nakashidze-Makharadze.

On December 9-11, Manana Makharashvili conducted the training "Modern approaches to learning and teaching in vocational education and assessment of the achievements of vocational education students" for the teachers of the center, organized and supported by the Vocational Skills Agency, at the Center for Management of Vocational Programs and Continuing Education of BSU. Issues that will contribute to the vocational development of the center`s teachers were discussed at the training modules.

The presentation of the book "Untouched Forests of Ajara" was held for students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University`s vocational educational programs "Forestry" and "Horticulture" and staff involved in the program (authors: Ketevan Samadashvili, Lela Janashia, Davit Kharazishvili).

BSU obtained the right to implement the vocational educational program "Integrated Plant Protection". The program is intended for persons interested in the field, existing specialists and farmers. The study course was prepared within the framework of the phytosanitary project, which is implemented by "Future Farmer" with the support of the US Department of Agriculture.

Rector of BSU, Professor Merab Khalvashi, Head of Administration Merab Diasamidze, Director of Vocational Programs Center Madonna Mikeladze congratulated the students on the start of their studies and introduced them to the news and opportunities offered by the university. Director of the library Tariel Ebralidze, employers and graduates also gave speeches at the opening ceremony.
