On July 16-19 2019 Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will be hosting the 11th International Seminar of Japan- Mediterranean Countries. The objective of the conference is to share the information, experience, new ideas and inventions in the applied electromagnetism, investigation of new materials (magnetic, superconductive, multifunctional and nanomaterials) among the participants of the event.

The countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia demonstrate contradictory and conflicting nature of the process of convergence of national (ethno-cultural) and civic identities. These countries demonstrate similarities in the processes of democratization and formation of national identities, which is determined by the shared cultural-historical connections of the people. The papers presented at the conference will analyze these processes and will elaborate scientific-practical recommendations for the management of the formation of national identity processes.
