Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Faculty of Humanities, is holding an international scientific conference on December 2-4, 2022. Topic: "Humanities in the Information Society - IV" (the first conference was held in 2009, the second - in 2014, the third - in 2018).The following sections will be working at the conference: 1. Mass communications and media research; 2. Corpus linguistics; 3. Digital Humanities; 4. Lingo-cultural studies; 5. Comparative literature 6. Georgia and the outside world (history-archeology); 7. New Paradigms of Intercultural Philosophy.

On September 16, 2021, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, in cooperation with Ilia State University, will host the Second International Conference “Academic Misconduct in Higher Education: “Challenges of Emergency Remote Learning during Pandemic.” The conference is being implemented in the framework of the Erasmus+project “Academic Integrity for Quality Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Institutions in Georgia”; it is aimed at sharing experience existed in the context of academic integrity, case analysis and summarizing existing practices to help participants identify successful examples.

The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara and the United Nations Children`s Fund (UNICEF) in partnership with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University will hold the First International Conference in Georgia on Quality Early Childhood Education and Care: Challenges, Approaches, New Perspectives in the Context of Local and International Practices.
The aim of the conference is to facilitate academic discussion and knowledge sharing on quality, access and inclusion in early childhood education and care; Additionally the conference aims to support the professional development of practitioners in the field and raise the awareness of the wider public and policy-makers about the importance of early childhood education.
