Presentation of the programs of the Francophonie University Agency (AUF) was held at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Tamar Gharibashvili, the representative of the Francophonie University Agency in Georgia introduced students and professors to the Agency educational programs and conditions for participation in the international projects. Within the framework of the event, GIPA lecturer Kati Kvinikadze organized a training for students on the topic: "I am a brand! So how do I present myself?"
The purpose of the 12-hour training was to evaluate self-competencies, analyze the job market and make an adequate offer to a potential employer. The participants were awarded with certificates of attendance.

The Honorary Doctor of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Professor Carl Kaser delivered a public speech on "Challenge of XXI Century - Visual Culture Research in the Black Sea Region". The speaker presented three stages of lectures on visual culture research. Professor Carl Kaser discussed the pre-secular history from the spectrum of the religion of visual cultures, cinematography and culture in modern life, the dispute of reality and utopia, and the influence of gender on the digital world. The prominent researcher is one of the founders of visual anthropology in the European scientific sphere.

The Academic Council of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University has awarded the title of an honorary doctor of BSU to Karl Kaser, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor of History and Anthropology and Head of the Institute of History at the University of Graz. Professor Karl Kaser has considerably contributed to the development of the university and the upbringing of future generations. The name of the prominent scientist is related to the development of visual anthropology in the European scientific sphere and the research in the field at BSU. He is the author of 11 significant monographs and numerous scientific articles.

Professor of the University of Graz, Thomas Krausman delivered a speech at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University on Europeanization of Criminal Law and its Role in Human Rights. Professor Thomas Krausman introduced to the students and professors of Faculty of Law and Social Science such important issues as the harmonization of Eastern European legislation, in particular, Criminal Law, with EU legislation, and its impact on human rights.

Estonian Ambassador to Georgia Kai Kaarelson, UNICEF Representative in Georgia Dr. Ghassan Khalil, Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Adjara AR Maia Khajishvili and Rector of BSU Merab Khalvashi opened a conference on reforms in education at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University. Minister of Education, Culture and Sport of Adjara AR Maia Khajishvili spoke about the progress of educational reforms in Adjara, Estonian Ambassador to Georgia Kai Kaarelson shared the experience of the Estonian education system with session participants, and UNICEF Representative in Georgia Dr. Gassan Khalil drew attention in his report on the importance of children rights-based education. Lela Tavdgiridze, a BSU professor, presented a report on the results of UNICEF, Estonia and Georgia Partnership Program in Higher Education at the conference.
