The representative of UNICEF in Georgia, Ghassan Khalil, and the Dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Lela Turmanidze, opened a training center for inclusive education and children`s rights in Makhinjauri public school. The United Nations Children`s Fund, together with the Children`s Rights Center operating in BSU, gave technical equipment and books to the Makhinjauri public school, which the public educational institution will use to promote inclusive education.

Within the framework of the VIII Odessa International Literary Festival, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted a translation master class of Katia Wolters, a translator, for the students of the faculty of humanities. The master class was on the topic: "Loss and Acquisition in Translation.” The event was opened by Professor Marine Giorgadze, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities of BSU who also spoke about the importance of holding the literary festival. At an interactive event, translator Katya Wolters spoke to young people about the creative process of translation, shared her own experience and answered their questions. The master class was moderated by Mariam Corinteli, assistant professor of the Faculty of Humanities of BSU.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the Presentation of the "Laboratory Health and Safety" of the vocational retraining program and the laboratory laboratory health and safety training laboratory equipped with modern equipment was opened. In the health and safety training laboratory, 10 local staff- trainers of the Ajara region were trained and a Georgian manual was created. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to train 250 trainees, among them, 50 trainees will be trained on the basis of BSU.

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University hosted the delegation of Ankara Bashkent University. Director of Medical Center of Bashkent University Ali Haberal, Director of Department of Relations with Foreign Patients Ebru Ayvazoglu Soi and Deputy Director of Department of Relations with Foreign Patients Turhan Namazov met the BSU Rector, Professor Merab Khalvashi, Head of Administration Nika Chkhartishvili, Deans of Faculties, Professors and teachers and representatives of Strategic Development and International Relations Department.

The Seventh Summer University "Nuclear Security and Non-Proliferation" organized by the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of BSU and the organization "Civil Council of Defense and Security Issues" was opened on the topic: "Russia`s invasion of Ukraine, new challenges and risks of nuclear security and non-proliferation". The summer university was opened by BSU Deputy Rector Tamar Siradze, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Georgia Maaike van Koldam and the founder of the Civil Council on Defense and Security Shorena Lortkipanidze.
