The dormitory

 

Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University students are served by the four-story dormitory of the modern standards foreseen for 200 tenants. The building is located on 15 Leonidze st. and fully complies with the modern standards; it is constructed based on the block principle construction and is equipped with the separate wet points and a kitchen.

The dormitory houses a conference hall, free spaces, a library, an elevator, a security office, a laundry- drying room, etc.; the blocks adjusted to the people with special needs are also envisaged.

Students can settle in the dormitory twice a year: at the beginning of the fall and the spring semesters within the time frame defined by the Order of the Head of Administration. 

Beneficiaries include:

  • Socially venerable families registered in the unified data base  (those with 70 000 and less scores);
  • The students living beyond the administrative borders of Ajara Autonomous Republic;
  • The students living in the high mountainous regions of Ajara that comprises Khulo, Shuakhevi, Keda regions, the villages of the Khelvachauri Region-Kveda Kokoleti and the villages of Kobuleti Region-Didvake, Khino. 
  • The children of those who died in the fight for the territorial unity of Georgia or those who were declared as missing in the war for the territorial unity of Georgia;
  • The Children of the Georgian war and the military force veterans;
  • Orphans (with either of the parents)
  • Those who have the status of a Refugee;
  • The members of the family with many children (four or more);
  • The members of the eco-immigrant families (the victims of natural disasters);
  • Single mother
  • A student with a single parent;
  • A student whose sister or/and a brother is the BSU student.
