On April 27, 2023, a meeting with public school teachers took place within the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Technology-enhanced teaching and learning in Georgian universities DITECH".

The BSU staff involved in the project, the dean of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Education, Professor Lela Turmanidze, and Assistant Professor Nino Samnidze introduced the innovative programs and training courses developed within the project to improve digital competence and skills to future and current teachers of public schools. At the meeting, teachers' needs were identified and the training was planned.

The main goal of the project is to improve the quality of higher education through the development and introduction of technology-enhanced teaching and learning in the universities of Georgia. The main target groups of the project are students, academic staff and future/practicing teachers.
