The ceremony was attended by the Defence Minister Tina Khidasheli, the Foreign Affairs Minister Tamar Beruchashvili, the European and State Minister for Euro-Atlantic Integration David Bakradze, the US Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland, the Acting Rector of BSU, Associate Professor Merab Khalvashi, Director of the NATO and the EU Information Centre Elene Gotsadze and the diplomatic corps. The NATO and EU Information Center in Adjara aims to reach out the region's population and raise their awareness of NATO and EU integration processes, thus facilitating active involvement into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
