
On July 13–15, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University is hosting the working meetings of the consortium of the Erasmus+ institutional development project HEAL (“Strengthening Dental Services for Patients with Special Needs and Supporting Continuing Education of Dentists in Georgia”, ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE-STRAND-1-101129331). The consortium members were met by BSU Rector Tite Aroshidze and Deputies Giorgi Katamadze and Tamar Siradze.
The aim of the working meetings is to share the activities implemented within the project, the achieved results and the feedback from partner institutions. Within the framework of the meeting, the project participants visited the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University Clinic “BSU Dent” and affiliated clinics: “Innovative Dentistry and General Medicine Center - Rogo” and “Khozrevanidze Clinic”, where they got acquainted with the existing practice in the field of dental services for patients with special needs.
The project is implemented by an international consortium, which includes: European University (coordinator), Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, National Center for Education Quality Development, Poznan University of Medical Sciences (Poland), Istanbul Aydin University (Turkey) and Sofia Medical University (Bulgaria).
