The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Georgia, Hideki Ishizuka, met with the Rector of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, Tite Aroshidze.
The meeting highlighted the results of BSU’s delegation visit to Japan, which led to cooperation with universities such as Kobe, Tsukuba, and Tokyo Metropolitan University. Within this partnership, BSU students will travel to Tokyo Metropolitan University to participate in a Japanese language summer programme.
Discussions also focused on strengthening cooperation in education, academic staff and student exchanges, and implementing joint projects.
During the visit, with the support of the Embassy of Japan in Georgia, the BSU library received Japanese literature—345 mangas and Japanese comics.
