BSU Hosts the Training on "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Vocational Education: Opportunities and Challenges"

On July 10–11, a training session titled "The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Vocational Education: Opportunities and Challenges" was held at the university. Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University continues to support the development of vocational education teachers' skills in using digital technologies and to enhance the quality of the learning process.

The training aimed to boost the digital competencies of vocational education teachers and introduce them to modern technological tools.

The session was conducted by Dr. Tea Chichua, a PhD in Social Sciences and an experienced trainer in strategic communications and digital marketing.

Over the two days, participants covered key topics, including:

  • Fundamentals of AI and a comparative analysis of various models (GPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Claude);
  • Ethical use of AI, cyber security, and risk management;
  • Effective prompting and optimizing student evaluation systems;
  • Hands-on practice with Gamma.app (automated presentation generation) and Canva's AI tools (visual and video content creation).

After completing the intensive 12-hour course, participants received bilingual BSU certificates.

BSU continuously strives to align its vocational education system with global technological trends to offer students modern, effective teaching methods.
