An admission event for students enrolled in vocational educational programmes at BSU as a result of the 2026 Unified National Examinations was held at the BSU Centre for the Management of Vocational Programmes and Lifelong Learning.

The event was opened by Tite Aroshidze, Rector of BSU, who congratulated the students on the beginning of their studies and spoke about the importance of vocational education. The Rector highlighted a change introduced as part of the education reform: for the first time this year, students were given the opportunity to enrol in vocational educational programmes on the basis of the Unified National Examinations. The Rector noted that this innovation contributes to the preparation of qualified professionals in line with labour market requirements, facilitates employment after completing vocational education, and provides opportunities for continuing education at subsequent levels.

At the event, Badri Gechbaia, Director of the Centre for the Management of Vocational Programmes and Lifelong Learning, wished the students a successful educational journey and spoke about creating a supportive environment for young people, employment prospects, and opportunities for professional development. He thanked partner organisations for their active cooperation and emphasised the importance of employers’ involvement in the effective implementation of vocational educational programmes.

The students were also congratulated on the beginning of their studies and wished success by BSU Vice-Rectors Giorgi Katamadze and Tamar Siradze, representatives of partner organisations, employers, and invited guests.

This year, for the first time, more than 100 vocational students were enrolled at BSU in vocational education programmes on the basis of the Unified National Examinations. During the meeting, certificates were presented to students who had been admitted with high scores.

Admission at BSU was carried out for the following vocational educational programmes:

  • Pharmacy (Pharmacy Technician)
